Assignments dont save

I am close to giving up with this game. I search for a rivals match, the game takes me to the lobby it counts down to zero and then back to team page. This happens on average 5 times before I get a game. When in a game it regulary disconnects meaning a loss in Champs. My internet is fast and this doesnt happen with any other game.

I set corner assignments, doesnt save so I have 5'5 player markig thier main corner threat

In about half my transfer searches it shows players with 55 mins left, these are very common players

All the 'hype' seems to be about game play but when so many basic mechanics of the game dont work its becoming un-playable/ a total waste of time

My assignments keep on changing, I select the players I want but as soon as I get in game they change. When the game ends and go to the  I assignments menu I see that the game changes them. I’ve had this problem since day one don’t know if there’s a fix. 

This bug has been reported many times already. How is it that EA hasn't fixed this yet?

I am playing on PS5, FUT game mode.

1. You save your corner assignments under Club > Tactics
2. Start any match, doesn't matter what type (can be Squad Battles, Rivals, anything).
3. Check which players have been selected by the game for different roles under corners, both in attack and defense. The game doesn't respect what you have previously saved, and it chooses completely wrong players, like small players as threat watcher when defending, or as target player when attacking.
4. You are forced to waste a pause on every single match just to change back your corner assignments the way you want.

Please EA, could you be so kind and fix this, or at least post an answer here? I, and many other users, have reported this issue several times via https://go.ea.com/fc26pfp with video attached, and nothing has been done to solve this bug.

Anyone have this issue where you assign players for the corner kick recipients and as you are playing a game the recipients change?

Needs fixing, so annoying and literally costing me goals at both ends.

This issue affects me as well. It’s a very obvious and frustrating bug, so I’m surprised it hasn’t been fixed a month.

Surely implementing formation changes mid match has got to be one of the simplest of expectations of a football game in 2025. 

Has this issue ever been acknowledged by EA?

Still the same issue here, fc 26 seasons on ps5. Had the same issue on fc 25 for a year.
