Black box

Im playing on Xbox series s. A black box appears at the top of the screen when it appears and you are playing against ai you can still control your players but when you’re playing an online game, the black box comes up you cannot control your players.  

I’ve tried a hard reset. I’ve even deleted the game and then reinstalled the game I the problem persists. . Please advise.
