Contracts on career are broken

I can't offer a new contract to a single player in my squad, just says they are not looking to renew. Some message saying they want a new contract but then it says they aren't looking to renew.

I had 2 players submit transfer requests because they hadn't been offered a new contract a month after they'd signed, Something that the game blocks you from doing because "they've just signed a contract"

Ruins the game entirely, having to replace half your squad with no budget every window
