Div 4 to Div 2 relegation

Just lost 2 delayed games, who cares, however, one was relegation from Div 2. After losing it I dropped straight A WHOLE DIVISION, straight to Div 4 promo to Div 3? I mean WHAT THE ACTUAL **bleep**?

    Hello nozz0072​ ,

    A new season started yesterday which means you get demoted from 1 division. If we add to that the relegation, you should indeed loose 2 divisions.

    It doesn't seems to be a bug.

    Good luck in climbing back the divisions.

    Hello, EA_Hux​. Thanks for the answer, however I don't understand it completely, I guess. 

    1. Why have I dropped a divison? I acquired full 24/24 rewards from DIvision 2 yesterday (Thursday) Did everyone drop a division then?
    2. How could I've played games in Division 2 and only after relegation went down to Div 4? I assume if I dropped (again, I don't see why (question #1), I'd be in Div 3 as soon as I entered Rivals UI?

    That's correct, as you can see in this EA Help article, everyone drop a division:

    When a new Ultimate Team™ Season starts, all competitors will be dropped from the Division that you previously finished in. You’ll have the chance to climb back to the top

    2. How could I've played games in Division 2 and only after relegation went down to Div 4? 

    Look at my previous post, you loose one division at the start of the new season + the division you got relegated by loosing. That's two divisions.
