EA FC 26 Freezes on PS4 Slim (Even After Buying Ultimate Edition)
Hi,
I’m having a serious issue with EA FC 26 on my PS4 Slim.
On first launch, after choosing my favourite club, the game gets stuck on the green/blue splash screen (sometimes with the EA logo animation at the bottom).
I originally tried with the EA Play trial, but after it froze I purchased the Ultimate Edition, to see if it was just a trial issue. The exact same issue still happens.
I have already tried:
- Clearing saved data
- Rebuilding database in Safe Mode
- Fully deleting and reinstalling the game
- Ensuring plenty of storage space is available
- Updating my PS4 system software
- Testing offline launch
- Tested on other PS user profile
- and much more
Support hasn’t responded to me yet, and nothing is working. Is this a known issue with PS4 Slim consoles? Or is there any confirmed fix for this?
I’d appreciate any help or acknowledgement — at this point the game is completely unplayable for me and I payed 110 euros or whatever it was...
