when downloading and applying online squads, the message “there was a problem with the online squad check. please try again later.” my friends are all experiencing this too - servers are down

Same here
Me and my friends have been trying to get on for the past hour and we're all getting that same message... However when I tried it on new gen it worked, but we don't all have new gen so can't play!

Yes clubs is currently down due to ea servers and online squad issues is the error code you receive I created a case for the issue.
same here I just updated my game and it seems like downloading and updating squads is not processing properly
