CE-108255-1 is NOT a PSN error – Edit Teams & Kick Off are broken in EA FC 26
There are at least 15 separate threads about the CE-108255-1 error in connection with EA FC 26. None of them have received a meaningful response from EA community managers. Two exceptions: One thread was closed without engagement because it was written in a different language. In another thread, the issue was redirected to PlayStation support, claiming it is a PSN system error, linking to this troubleshooting page: https://www.playstation.com/en-ie/support/error-codes/ps5/ce-108255-1/ The problem: The proposed solutions on that page do not fix the issue for most of us. Yes, CE-108255-1 can be a general PS5 system error. But in this case, it is very clearly tied to EA FC 26 — specifically to: Edit Teams Custom squad editing Kick Off mode (CPU vs CPU included) After extensive testing by multiple users over months, the pattern is obvious: The error occurs after heavy squad editing. It appears the EA FC 26 database becomes corrupted at its core. Once that happens, certain team constellations in Kick Off mode immediately trigger CE-108255-1. This is not random. This is reproducible. This is not fixed by: Reinstalling the game Rebuilding the database Deleting save data Changing graphics settings Clearing cache Many of us have spent hours recreating squads from scratch — only for the issue to return. This has been ongoing for over six months. At this point, the issue is not “lack of troubleshooting.” It is lack of acknowledgment. What we need: Confirmation that this is being investigated Transparency about whether the squad database has structural limits A fix — or at least a statement about known limitations Edit Teams and Kick Off are core offline features. If heavy editing permanently breaks the mode, that is a fundamental design flaw — not a PlayStation error. We need a real response from EA, not a redirect to Sony. PS. While in some almost non-existing cases, it CAN be an PSN-system-error, it's mostly because of an corrupt EA FC database, that is broken in its core. I have been having issues concerning the PlayStation tournaments for fc26 ps5 regarding how I join up a round before my opponent and him not joining at all and when the timer ends I get hit with a pop up message “your match has been cancelled “ and after a few minutes another message pops up”Thank you for playing here is your placement” I have lost so many tournaments because of this bug and am a passionate player but this makes me lose my passion for this game I have screenshots even a full video of me joining up a round and end up getting kicked out of the tournaments this is unfair please fix that glitch.The worst thing is that these players I end up glitching against just end up in the tournament without playing a single game Thank you.
Rush ‘searching for teammates’ issue with 4 players in lobby
In Clubs Rush, when we have four players in the lobby— from PC, Xbox, and PlayStation — crossplay is enabled and Find GK is disabled, FC 26 still tries to “search for teammates” instead of searching for a match directly. This naturally never goes through and FC 26 Clubs Rush remains stuck on the “searching for teammates” screen before giving up and saying it couldn’t find teammates. Not sure how it decides when to give up, but it doesn’t ever search for a match even though the lobby is full. Even if we enable Find GK, the search still goes on forever, and no keeper is ever found. Essentially, Clubs Rush is unplayable with four (crossplay enabled) players in the lobby. How is it almost the end of February, and a game that has been out for FIVE MONTHS, has yet to solve such a basic thing?!?Can’t load into CLUBS
On PS5, with PS+ and a working internet connection, the game fails to load. Everytime I try, it states “Unable to Connect to EA, Please check your connection and try again.” This randomly started happening like 2 months ago, and everyday I have been trying to load in but I just can’t. Surely this is something that can be fixed quick, but no attention is brought to this. I really want to go back to my GK career in clubs but I can’t load in. Platform: Xbox Series X Issue: In Pro Clubs, my player randomly becomes AI-controlled during matches. I lose control of my Pro and can only spectate the game. This usually happens when I am playing well. My player name sometimes changes and my build may switch. Restarting the game only fixes it temporarily. Please investigate and release a patch to fix this issue, the game is unplayable.FALSE DNF
I've just finished this week 15 champs games, im kinda annoyed that 3 of the game was server issues where i got disconnected all of a sudden, 2 of them happened after i won/opponent forfeited the game and 1 happen in the middle of the game cause me to lose the player pick. I would appreciate compensation for this.
