EA Play Pro Membership Complaints: Unresolved Issues & Rejected Refund Request
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the multiple problems I’ve encountered with my EA Play Pro membership and the lack of effective support from EA Help.
I purchased an EA Play Pro membership at 10 PM on the 20th. The EA app confirmed the purchase was successful, but critical member benefits failed to materialize in FC 26:
1. Missing exclusive member rewards: I have not received any of the rewards that come with the EA Play Pro membership for FC 26, despite the purchase being verified.
2. Invalid 10% discount on Points purchase: The 10% discount for EA Play Pro members does not show up on the FC 26 Points purchase interface.
3. Game freezing issue: Every time I attempt to access the Points purchase page, FC 26 freezes completely, making it impossible to complete any related transactions.
I contacted EA Help the very night I discovered these problems. From the 20th to the 23rd, I sent nearly ten follow-up emails, but received zero replies. When I finally got in touch with an EA Help advisor today, we spent four hours going back and forth—yet the advisor stated they could not resolve either the game freezing issue or the missing rewards problem. I proposed a simple workaround: refund my EA Play Pro membership so I could repurchase it to test if that fixed the glitches, but this reasonable request was also flatly rejected.
As a paying customer, I’m extremely disappointed with EA’s defective service, unresponsive support team, and refusal to provide a viable solution. I hope EA can address these issues promptly, either by resolving the technical glitches to restore my membership benefits or by approving a full refund.
