FC26 PS5 Pro – Career Mode Team Management Save & Formation Bugs

Hello EA Support Team, I would like to report two recurring issues in FC26 on PS5 Pro within Career Mode. I work as a Quality Assurance and I am providing a clear and structured description so that the issues can be reproduced and resolved. Bug: Team Management lineup and formation are not saving correctly. Description: When editing the squad from the Squad -> Team Management menu, changes to formation and player positions often fail to save. After selecting a new formation, arranging players, and pressing Save, reopening Team Management shows that the lineup has been randomly rearranged and does not match the changes I made. Reproduction steps: Open Career Mode. Go to Squad -> Team Management. Change the formation. Move players into new positions. Press Save. Exit the menu. Reopen Team Management. Actual result: The lineup loads in a scrambled or incorrect state, ignoring the saved player positions. Expected result: The game should save and restore the exact formation and player placement made by the user. Bug: In-match formation changes are not persisting. Description: When I pause the game during a match and change the formation inside Team Management, the formation does not persist. After saving the change and resuming the match, if I pause again and re-enter Team Management, the formation has changed to the starting one. Reproduction steps: Start a match in Career Mode. Pause the game. Open Team Management. Change the formation and confirm. Resume the match. Pause again and open Team Management. Actual result: The formation reverts to the starting one, ignoring the player’s chosen setup. Expected result: The selected formation should remain active until the player manually changes it again. Additional comment: These issues affect core gameplay systems and significantly disrupt the Career Mode experience. It is concerning to see such fundamental problems reaching production, especially for a major title with a large community and strong expectations. From a QA perspective, these defects suggest gaps in testing coverage. As someone working in Quality Assurance, I strongly recommend reviewing the internal testing processes and communication between the development and test teams. The number and severity of issues in Career Mode make the game feel untested and unfinished on release.
