The issue starts as a freeze. The screen completely stops and the game becomes unresponsive. I have to manually close the application,When I try to close it, it takes a few seconds, and then I get an error message and the game crashes.
I’m playing on PlayStation 5.
This mostly happens when entering Ultimate Team or after playing one or two matches. Other games work perfectly fine.
I have already tried reinstalling the game, restarting the console, and rebuilding the database, but the issue is still happening.

Thanks for those details. What is the error message you're getting?
Did you also clear the PS5 cache when you rebuilt the database?
Is your console in a well ventilated space and are the vents free of dirt/debris?
The error message I get says that something went wrong and asks me to send a report (I don’t always see a specific error code).
I have not cleared the PS5 cache yet, I only rebuilt the database.
My console is in a well-ventilated area and the vents are clean.
