I completely agree with what you say, but apparently they only listen to those with social media visibility! Regarding profits, I can give you my example as a passionate but non-competitive player.
This year, for the first time since I've been playing FUT, I abandoned online play in November.
Up until last year, I played between D6 and D5 and was quite satisfied. This year, I never managed to get beyond D8 because I was often matched with players from at least 4 or 5 divisions higher.
This problem has been reported many times on this forum, but we've never received a solution. As a result, I no longer purchase the paid SEASON PASSES (which are horrible anyway, whereas last year I bought them all!), also because by only playing battles, I don't need to buy packs, and the ones they give us are more than enough.
Another thing I'll do to save money is cancel my PSN subscription, which isn't necessary for battles anyway. Unless they release a patch to improve matchmaking by April or May, but I have serious doubts about that...
I imagine Sony won't be thrilled about this...
And finally, I'll never pre-order the game again.
They'll definitely start releasing information towards the end of the summer about improvements, but we all know exactly how that will end...
In any case, I'll wait to see some feedback before buying the game. If it's positive, great. Otherwise, I'll buy it when it's half price.
I’ve found the official complaint channels — file enough complaints, and EA will fix it. We won’t let devs toy with us or ruin the game. Fight back with the steps below!
1. First: File a Standard EA Support Case (MANDATORY)
- Link: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ (select FC26)
- Choose: Live Chat/Call Back → Get Case Number + Advisor Name
- Script: "I need to escalate FC26 matchmaking/booster issues to senior management. Provide Case Number and escalation approval within 48h."
2. Escalate to EA Executives (Use your Case Number)
Core Executive Emails (SEND TO THESE FIRST)
- CEO: [edit: email address removed] (highest priority)
- CFO: [edit: email address removed] (emphasize shareholder/revenue harm)
- CXO: [edit: email address removed] (player experience)
- CC: [edit: email address removed] (for records)
Short Email Subject
URGENT: FC26 Futures Stars Broken Matchmaking/Boosters – Fix Now
3. External Pressure (No Reply in 48h?)
- Investor Relations: [edit: email address removed] (key for fast action)
- Social Media: Tweet @EASPORTSFC @EAHelp | Hashtags: #FC26MatchmakingBroken #BoostersRuiningFC26
- Regulatory/3rd Party:
4. Must-Have Evidence (Keep it simple)
- Consecutive loss screenshots (Futures Stars mode)
- Opponent profile (high win rate/booster signs)
- EA support chat/email records
- FC Points purchase history (if you’re a paying player)
Key Note
Collective action wins: Share this guide on EA Forums/Reddit/Discord. The more complaints we file, the faster EA acts!

Hi, first of all, I have to compliment you on the accuracy of your information. But I wonder, do we really have to get to this point to hope to see an improvement? For several months now, I and many others have been reporting unplayable issues in online modes due to ridiculous matchmaking...
But the most annoying thing is that no one bothers to give us an answer; we're COMPLETELY ignored!
Every patch that comes out fixes or attempts to fix issues no one asked for (like curling shots...) or adds new hairstyles or new boots. My impression is that this system was introduced deliberately, perhaps also to exasperate players competing in online modes when they start losing match after match and see no progress.
Perhaps to push users to spend money to improve their team.
In all my years of playing FIFA/EA FC, I've never had an experience like this.
I'm truly very sad and disappointed!
