HELP!! Career Mode glitchy/clippy/stuttery gameplay. timing delay issue?

this issue has been driving me insane for weeks now and i can’t find anyone describing it.

specifically in career mode, the gameplay is inconsistent between matches. Sometimes it runs smoothly, and other times it seems “broken”. It’s a little hard to describe because it’s kind of a subtle issue, but there seems to be something that goes out of sync and the timing of everything just feels off. Players would often move extremely glitchy and jittery, making the gameplay very hard to enjoy. I also notice a lot of clipping when this happens, almost like the whole game gets a demo like quality. 

i really hate it because I really enjoyed authentic mode but when this happens in a career mode save (and it always eventually happens) it feels very awkward to play. Interestingly if i reboot everything the game will run normally for 1 or 2 games and then it gets this glitchy quality. Usually it’s triggered at halftime. The players act weirdest/glitchiest when involved in tackles or any physical situation, sometimes they will even inexplicably run through each-other like a ghost.

• Gameplay feels choppy but framerate is normal  • Player animations accelerate briefly to ‘catch up’ to something  
• Movement feels inconsistent, like input and animation timing are mismatched  
• The halftime transition is the key indicator: when the game is running correctly, halftime shows a 5–6 second black screen. When the issue starts, halftime transitions instantly with no loading pause, and gameplay quality drops immediately after.

Important:
• Kickoff mode runs perfectly even without the halftime pause.
• No other PS5 games have this problem (including older FIFA/FC titles).
• I already tried: reinstalling, deleting Career settings, rebuild database, new console user, different display, wired controller, performance modes, etc.

there are also other bugs that seem related:

• replays sometimes weirdly only show the kick off point of the pitch with no players
• At the end the pitch side assistant with the added time board will just walk in the active match like the game is done

This seems like a simulation/animation timing issue in Career Mode specifically, not graphics or input delay
