Re: [PC] Huge Input Delay After 1.1.3 Patch

Hello everyone! I'm DTR-Tche, and I've been a professional Clubs player for over 10 years, playing on the PC platform. Since the last update a week ago, I haven't been able to play anymore. League Clubs matches run normally, Rivals sometimes disconnects, and I also face input lag issues, but playing the competitive mode, which is the 11v11 Clubs Friendlies, is impossible. I can't play, and I make a living from this. I can't work, either by playing or by creating content for the mode. Please, fix this! Thousands and thousands of players around the world who play on PC are having this problem. We can no longer tolerate this neglect; please help us! 

Just to clarify: My computer is very good, my internet connection is excellent, and the game was working perfectly before last week's update.

EA sports Vancouver, once again you’ve amused me, and you never fail to. Last year when i purchased the game on PC at about this time of the year, it was completely unplayable, and this year the same can be said.

Whenever I hop into a rivals game, the game runs normally for about 5 seconds. After that, i get the craziest input delay i’ve ever witnessed, any press of a button takes 5 second to be registered in the game.

Why do you disrespect the PC player base like this? It’s every single year that something like this happens. How greedy are you, to confidently publish this game for sale in various platforms, whilst you acknowledge that it has major flaws which make it completely unplayable? The worst part is, you take what feels like a century to fix these same exact issues. Please stop stealing our money from us, and give us the same attention that console players get. How much longer do we have to wait until this issue is fixed??

As if the FPS crash issue caused by the VRAM leak that’s been around since the start of the game wasn’t enough, now we’ve got an input lag problem like a newbie after the latest patch. It’s been months since the game’s full release, and there’s no excuse for such a major bug to still be unresolved. How many people are making money under this company’s name? Fix this **bleep** issue already.

So let’s start at the very beginning, and I’ll try to be as respectful as possible. This is my third discussion but I’ve scrolled for solutions for more hours than I played!!

 I had the game from release, and not a single day is without issues. Every “patch” solves an issue and creates 2 new ones. From controller not being recognized to an FPS drop, slow motion gameplay to disconnections. Your inefficiency lost us multiple rewards because we are UNABLE to play the game properly. 

right now I’m having 2 problems: 

1- every single mode (kick-off, manager, player, squad battles, etc.) is on slow motion (like x0.25 speed) 

2- every online mode (rivals, clubs, rush, live events, etc.) runs smoothly for 5 seconds and then an unimaginable input lag happens (for example I’m kicking off the game, I press pass, it registers but the action happens after my opponent takes the ball, passes it a few times, shoots, misses, a goal kick, my goalie finally takes action and passes the ball to the attacker) 

I literally tried everything, and every combination possible; changing refresh rate, frame limit, vsync (on and off), graphics on low, auto, medium, high, cutscene performance, dynamic resolution scaling, display mode (windowed, borderless, full screen) 

my specs are (and these should be marginally better than the recommended requirements)

Processor: AMD Ryzen 7-5800H with Radeon Graphics (3.20 GHz)

Installed RAM: 16 GB

Graphic Card: NVidia Geforce RTX 3050Ti Laptop (using this as my main GPU since I have 2 cards installed) 

Can someone explain why are you as a company ignoring all PC players? We’ve been SCREAMING about issues for weeks, all we get is “we’re investigating” and “this comment is only marked as solution for visibility” without a single actual solution!! Creating that survey is as useless as these comments, collecting useless data, I’ve tried multiple resolutions, what will it solve when you know what resolution I’m on right now?? Nothing!! You need to do better, the game is NOT CHEAP, and we paid for it, just like PS & XBox players we deserve some respecti!! 

After the November 4, 2025, update, I experienced desync in matches, with a delay between my actions and reactions in the match. Everything is fine at the start of the match, but as the gameplay progresses, a significant delay of about 20 seconds appears. This didn't happen before the update. I've updated all available drivers. I don't know what to do; it's impossible to play online. It feels like the screen resolution has completely stopped working when switching. How can I fix this?

Exact same problem for me. 11v11, the input lag just kicks in early in the game. It was working fine prior to this new update but now it is unplayable. This game is not designed for PC that i have accepted so I am just trying to troubleshoot myself. None of the previous fixes (clearing the cache, validate the files etc) have worked for me till now. I will keep trying out different graphic setting options as well. Please let me know in case you find any fix for it.

I've literally done everything you can imagine, everything, all the tests, anything you can think of, I've done and simply NOTHING works. Depending on EA is bad. If one person asks for a new Mbappé trading card, they make it immediately, but if 10,000 PC users ask them to fix this problem, they do nothing.

EA dont care about PC users. They give a f about ps and xbox - thats why they get less of the issues. Their dev team is really bad and their PM must be a conman
