I got connected to a player (cheater) I had blocked!

I just started a Rivals game and everything started smoothly.

When the player presentation started I saw that his Striker had 456 goals so I quickly thought this was a cheater.

When I blocked the game to see the player name, nothing came up. I am literally in this game but according to EA I am playing against nobody. I then wrote down the EA ID which said s*rs100101 (one letter changed with the * to avoid identification). Then it said I had already blocked this player previously.

How come that a player I have blocked for cheating still can be connected with me???
