EA FC 26 crash on launch - EAAntiCheatService Error 87 Game crashes immediately on launch with PACKER dump (C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat\Crashdumps). EAAntiCheatService fails to start: Error 87 - Invalid Parameter. OS: Windows 11 25H2 build 26200.8737 Game installed via Steam. Hi everyone, FC 26 (Steam version) stopped launching on my PC. Clicking Play starts FC26.exe, which closes within seconds — no error message on screen. EA Support confirmed via live chat that this is a known issue under investigation (my case number: 249350026), so I'm posting my full diagnostic here to help the team and to compare notes with other affected players. EVIDENCE: - Windows Event Viewer, on every attempt: EA Javelin Anticheat — "The game fc26.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0x186A6" (100006) - Activation log (C:\ProgramData\Origin\Logs\FC26_..._OnlineActivation_Log.html), on every attempt: "License Request Server HTTP response code=200" → "License Request Server response state code=3" → "License signature is good" → "Error: Cipher mismatch" (twice per launch). The license server issues a license, but it is never accepted on the machine. ALREADY TRIED (no effect): EA Anticheat full reinstall; Steam file verification; deleting all local .dlf license files (fresh licenses fail the same way); EA App recovery/cache clear; EA App as administrator; antivirus real-time protection disabled (nothing quarantined); VPN virtual adapter disabled; Killer networking services stopped; Secure Boot ON, TPM 2.0, latest VC++ 2015-2022, Hyper-V off, no overlays; correct system clock; full reboot. Since the server consistently responds with state code=3 and every issued license fails to decrypt locally even after a full local cleanup, this looks server-side. System: Dell G15 5520 (i5-12500H, RTX 3050 Laptop, 16 GB RAM), Windows 11 24H2, Steam version, single EA account used on a single PC, no mods installed. Anyone else seeing "Cipher mismatch" in their OnlineActivation log? Any workaround found while we wait for the fix?202Views6likes12CommentsLoss of control after pause – opponent keeps playing (FC 26 bug)
Hello EA Support, I want to report a serious gameplay bug in EA SPORTS FC 26. During an online match, after I used the pause menu, I completely lost control of my team when the game resumed. My players stopped responding to any controller input, while my opponent continued to play normally and score goals. The match was still running (timer and score were active), but I was unable to control my players at all. Re-pausing, reconnecting the controller, and pressing buttons did not fix the issue. This appears to be a known bug related to pauses or controller synchronization. Because of this bug, I unfairly lost the match. Details: Game: EA SPORTS FC 26 Mode: (Rivals / Champions / etc.) Platform: (PS5 / Xbox / PC) Approximate time of match: (date & time) I have attached a screenshot/video showing the issue. Please investigate this problem and consider compensation if possible, as this loss was caused by a technical bug, not gameplay. I just started a Rivals game and everything started smoothly. When the player presentation started I saw that his Striker had 456 goals so I quickly thought this was a cheater. When I blocked the game to see the player name, nothing came up. I am literally in this game but according to EA I am playing against nobody. I then wrote down the EA ID which said s*rs100101 (one letter changed with the * to avoid identification). Then it said I had already blocked this player previously. How come that a player I have blocked for cheating still can be connected with me???5Views0likes0CommentsCustom tactics/formation changed when opponent paused match after scoring
I was leading 5-0 with a 442 flat. My opponent scored and paused the game. After that my formation changed to a 5-back automatically and I eventually lost the game cause it is not my formation. Attached are screenshots in chronological order: left-right. Kindly see the first three are the initial change in my formation, and the last 4 are my tactics showing 442 but my game stuck on 523 probably.8Views0likes0CommentsOpponents quitting matches mid game in Seasons and winner not getting the win.
Title: Seasons Match Not Awarding Win When Opponent Quit. Platform: PS5 Game Mode: Online Seasons Issue: When I am winning a Seasons match and my opponent quits before the match ends, sometimes in the first few mins after conceding a few goals. I am not receiving the win. The match either disappears or does not count correctly toward my record. People are using this glitch consistently to save their standings. This game has become a joke with all the scripting and unfixed bugs. If you cannot fix it yourself hire me for just a day, I’ll fix it and then quit! Expected Result: If an opponent quits while losing, the remaining player should be awarded the win. Actual Result: No win is awarded despite the opponent leaving the match. Frequency: This has happened multiple times and appears to be recurring and is a glitch most season 1 players are exploiting and is getting ridiculous. Additional Information: Please investigate whether players are exploiting a disconnect glitch in Seasons mode.630Views9likes8CommentsLIVE EVENT reward bug
I’ve been experiencing a persistent issue with the “Live Event” matches in FC26 for several months. Even when I participate in Live Events and win, the wins are not counted toward the “Club Live Events” objective in FC HUB, and I do not receive the match win rewards. Every time I join a new Live Event, the same problem occurs: my progress is not tracked and the rewards are not granted. Please let me know what actions I can take to resolve this issue, or if any further information is needed from my side.74Views3likes2Comments
