instead of shot they make a chip shot

Good evening, I have a problem with EA sports fc 26 on playstation5.
Sometimes (often) when I press the shot (circle) instead of the player making a strong shot, he makes a chip shot into the goalkeeper's hands.
Also, when I make the through pass with the square, sometimes, instead of a straight pass, he makes a high-hanging pass that is always cut by the opposing defenders.
Can you help me please?
