lighting seems darker in friendlys/Champions compared to rivals/squad battles?

I noticed when playing friendlys and champions that the pitch / stadium lighting seemed darker and kind of washed out compared to when playing rivals/squad battles/moments for example,

I am using the default UT stadium and here is a side by side comparison:

I am the home team in both screenshots and I try to set the "time of day" on the pre match settings to 22.00 always, (but sometimes it resets automatically to 12.00 for some reason?)

if you look at the picture on the right side I think it is obvious the lighting is not the same as on the left one, this is maybe not a huge problem but it would be nice to have that perfect looking pitch and lighting in champions and friendlys as well not just in squadbattles/rivals,  as long as I am the home team at least,

in previous FC titles this difference was not present for example, seems like some oversight or not intended at least !
