I am 100% with you. It was a fix to a problem we didn’t have that has now completely ruined scouting for young players. 

The issue isn’t the visibility of player contracts it’s the way they have changed contracts is broken.

Just have the contract status as a separate field or have the player status i.e. Potential to be Special, One of the World’s best etc as a separate field, but don’t completely hide one of the most important pieces of information in career mode!
