Manager Career Contract Negotiations

Hi. There seems to be a significant issue still in manager career mode where players start to become unhappy about their contracts but they are not willing to negotiate a new deal. Then you get a notification that they want a new deal but they are still not willing to negotiate.

I am in my second season in career mode and have won a lot of trophies but, I have only managed to renegotiate contracts for 2 players. I understand the odd player not willing due to game time or simply just wanting a move but not most of the squad. Please fix this.

    Career mode started with 3 players with less than 12 months remaining on contract. None of whom would allow me to renegotiate a contract, just got message “the player is not looking to engage in contract negotiations for the time being’. One left in January transfer window as only had a few months left. Nothing I could do stop that. The other players left when contracts expired. All of whom were showing as high morale. Tried a new career mode with no transfers allowed and lost these same players when contract expired. Please patch EA as career mode is very broken with this bug.

    I just can’t negotiate any contracts with any player at all, I created my own club and i have climbed to the championship and non of my players want a new contract not a single player is willing to negotiate a contract all of the players are from 66 to 72 rated and some youngsters are paid just 400€ a week and they don’t want to negotiate a contract it’s broken

    I had this issue aswell seems to be a bug needs sorting out! Had to restart the career and the players that were expiring that I wanted to renew and keep i had to release players when starting career mode to sign them as free agents once it loaded up

    Come on EA, this is a real issue affecting every career mode player. Please sort this out.
