Menu interaction/Clicking sound in game which makes gameplay slow

While playing I have recently been experiencing a clicking sound in game similar to the sounds made when interacting with different sections in the menu. It happens whether I am playing rivals, gaunt...

This happens to me too but I don't have these fire / ice cosmetics. The clicking sounds only appears when I am approaching the other goal or the other way around. It slows down my players and I always lose matches when the clicking sound appears. I believe it could be some kind of hack from the other player.
