Game Mode: Division Rivals and the new Tournament mode
Description:
Since the latest update (November 2025), during online matches, around 30 seconds after kickoff, a message appears on screen saying “New Input Connected”. Right after that, I lose the ability to switch players for several seconds.
I have tested this with three different Xbox controllers (both wired and wireless), and the issue happens exactly the same way every time. It only occurs in online modes (Rivals and Tournament), not in Kick-Off or Career.
Steps to reproduce:
- Start any Division Rivals or Tournament match.
- Play for about 20–40 seconds.
- The “New Input Connected” message appears, and player switching stops working temporarily.
Additional notes:
This issue started after the latest FC 26 patch. I have verified the game files, cleaned EA App cache, and disabled overlays, but the problem persists.
