No Fouls or freekicks. And some other little bits.

Please, please can the foul system be fixed for FC26. I have played 15 games so far and have only received 3 freekicks, and all three were for a handball. I have still yet to see the CPU come off their feet in trying to win the ball or to prevent a corner with a stretched slide tackle. Even going over the boot with the studs seems to be a common foul too nowadays.

I have played with the factory settings and with adjusted sliders and nothing changes.

I see no point in practicing freekicks and penalties if the opposition do not tackle either in or outside the box, they only hound you for the ball. Tackling is an aspect of the beautiful game, even in the current climate were its being phased out with constant referee intervention, but nether-the-less, it is still a part of football.

Teams do become physical against certain sides, such as derbies or rivals. Lower division sides may tend to go in harder on top opposition to stamp their authority on the game. Maybe even a former player of a former club may get special treatment when returning to that ground. YET, nothing in any game. Even in slippery conditions.

How can their ever be an advantage to the player if a team is constantly at 11 men. There is more chance of me being a man down, just to make it interesting.

In previous 25, I managed to up tackle aggression and to put referee on strict and it was so much better with the opponents sliding around, however, most were from behind, but still, at least it was something.

Fighting for possession is a major part of most sports. Whether your shoulder-to-shoulder with Haaland or in a foot race with Mbappa, most times it will end in a foul. Having stats for strength and speed is pointless if weaker teams and individual players are not trying to get the better of them, by fair means or foul.

Real football matches can be a stop/start affair. Not all matches flow. And much depends on the sides playing, home and away advantage, particular players, conditions and maybe the importance of a match itself. Imagine picking your star player for a match in which you know he is going to be crunched, or risking your injured playmaker when the CPU knows he can be targeted for an early substitution. This could even work for AI teams.

Is there anything wrong by targeting Mbappa early in the game? Maybe causing a slight injury or having MY team being warned for constant fouling on a particular player. Its all part of a strategy. And definitely part of football.

I am not asking for it to be a bloodbath, lol. But Eddie Howes Newcastle know how to unsettle Arsenal. By making it a physical match.

But PLEASE, tackling needs to be reinstated.

On a side note if I may.

1. Can keepers be obstructed? Maybe being prevented from coming for a ball during a corner? I find that despite a barrier of the keepers players and the opposition, the keeper still managers to plough through to claim the ball. It may indeed, end up being another foul for the keeper.
2. Califori and Nwarwi of arsenal do not have commentary for their names. Why?
3. Dowman is not in the Arsenal team. A star in the making. Why?
4.  Before match team talks and a final gee-up with what's at stake. Boosting stats maybe of all players. This could work for AI too.
5. Half time, team talks, which I think could be amazing to boost confidence of the team or individual players who have under achieved in the match or a striker who needs an arm around them for that poor open goal miss. Warning a player or the team to up their rate, sending them out with fire in their bellies. No two halves are the same.
6. Locked in dressing room after a smashing defeat, which could cause issues within moral and for certain players if singled out. Maybe even it leaking out to the press, or a player issuing a statement or apology to fans.
7. Manager being slammed by the team or a player publicly, forcing you to warn, drop or even fine players.
8. More social media. Whether its players angling for a secret move that's leaked, managers being rubbished or players caught being out late.
9. Not attending training.
10. Player and manager unrest, within club, online, on tv and even in the stands.
