No returns coins after expired transfer

I was using the companion app to bid on players I had 192 coins but when the transfer expired I didn’t get my coins back. 

i remember this as it was the last action I took, I was waiting for the transfer to expire before I could make another bid for a player. I felt like it happened before but I was not sure, but I am certain now as my last bid wasn’t successful and I cannot make any more bids as I don’t have enough funds.
