Opponent quits while I am winning but the match does not count

Hi EA Support Team,

 

I am reporting an issue with online match results in EA SPORTS FC 26.

In several online matches, when I am winning and my opponent quits early, the match does not count as a win for me. For example, I can be leading by several goals around the 20th minute, then the opponent leaves the match, but after returning to the menu, the result is not recorded.

However, when the opposite happens and I leave a match after falling behind, the game counts it as a loss for me.

This feels inconsistent and unfair. If a player quits during an online match, the result should be handled consistently for both players.

Please check this issue and let me know why my wins are not being recorded when opponents leave the match.

    Hey Drsstrangeee​, know it can be frustrating but while we will do what we can to help ensure that you are able to play as best you can, we are not able to change the outcome of these match decisions.

    Can I ask, when your opponent leaves and the game does not count, what error do you receive?

    These errors can contain information that allows us to narrow down the cause of an issue.

    I would recommend not leaving games as it can have a negative effect on your account.

    If losing then it is always better to keep playing and hope than to leave.

    I’ve had the exact same thing happened to me today was 6 1 up they messaged with abuse then quit the match no error code just kicked out and says I lost 3 nil this was on the Darwin cup , This game just keeps getting worse as the year goes on so we play a game. The guy decides to play about and lose was a abusive nukes the game but we can’t do anything and have to take the loss jake93gb was the username check their data see how he’s doing this
