Previously if you highlighted a position eg striker or CB when building a squad the search would only highlight players who could play that position. Recently, as others have reported this wasn’t working for GK but still worked for all other positions. Now it doesn’t work in any position.

I’ve been dealing with this for a while for the gk position, recently I’ve gotten the same issue but with all positions 😔
Anyone got the problem when you’re about to pick any position and instead of saying select position it says Any ?
Hi, I'm reporting a UI bug in FC 26 Ultimate Team. When I select a player slot (e.g. GK) and press R1/RB to find a replacement, the game fails to auto-filter by position. It shows the entire club instead of just Goalkeepers. I've already tried clearing squad updates and local cache, but it didn't help. This makes squad building very slow. Please fix this in the next update. Thanks.

Yep, I have the same issue. Very annoying. If it's not patched fast I'm quiting EA FC forever. I'm sick and tired of all those bugs. I f they fix one bug, three new ones show up.
Instead of fixing the broken Team Management mode the gradually made it worse. Unbelieveable
Having this issue also why have they changed this !!! , completing SBC's are a nightmare EA please revert back to how it was please- XBOX

When you go to put players into your team it searches for all players instead of the specific position I clicked on. It used to be that when you pressed square on PS it would search for centre back if you were hovering the CB position, but it doesn’t work.
