R1 dribbling not working properly

Whenever I press R1 and dribble, the ball seems to be pushed forward via a heavy touch by the player. It’s honestly so frustrating. So far it seems to be a ps4 edition thing as my friend on ps5 still...

Retweet. Whats wrong with the heavy touches its like they play on mud tried everything and nothing is working?

No same, looked online and tried it all! I don't understand how it can only happen to certain people it's impossible to win against decent players when you can't dribble!
