Relegation from Elite Division directly to Division 1 with no warning
Hello EA team, After today’s new season update in EA Sports FC 26, me and several friends have experienced a serious issue in Division Rivals.
When you lose your first match in the Elite Division, you immediately get relegated to Division 1.
There’s no protection message, no checkpoint warning, and no pop-up notification about relegation — you just drop straight from Elite to Division 1 after one loss. Steps to reproduce:
Be in the Elite Division.
- Lose one match after the new season update.
- Observe that you’re instantly placed in Division 1 with no warning or message.
Expected result:
Players in the Elite Division should not be relegated at all, or at least have a warning/protection system.
Actual result:
Immediate relegation from Elite to Division 1 with no message.
Please investigate this as it seems to be a bug or an unintended change in the new season.
