Squad Management Broken for Months – 15-Year League Still Unable to Play

This is a plea, not a rant.

We are a 15-year-old FIFA league, about 20 players, spread all over Europe. Simulating games, negotiating, making role-play-posts. 

Different cities, different lives — but once a year we come together for the same ritual: the draft.

We already did it.

We celebrated it.

We planned the season.

And now we can’t play.

Why? Because core team-management features in EA FC 26 are broken — and have been for months.

For our league, Kick-Off mode with custom squads and tactics is essential. We don’t use Ultimate Team. We don’t want monetization features. We need:

-Working transfers

-Reliable squad editing

-Functional tactical changes

-Stable team management across multiple squads

Right now, none of this works properly.

Transfers don’t save or revert.

Players can’t be moved between positions.

Tactics don’t apply.

Editing multiple squads leads to crashes (CE-108255-1).

And since the World Selection update, players appearing in multiple squads can’t be transferred at all.

So the result is absurd: We have the teams. We have the lineups. We have the league. But the game won’t let us play football.

Every update, someone in our group asks:

“Is it fixed now?”

It never is.

This isn’t a niche request.

This is basic football game functionality.

And for us — and many others — it’s the entire reason to play.

We’re still here.

Still waiting.

Still hoping someone finally treats this as the critical bug it is.

Please fix squad management.

Please let us play the season we already built.
