There is no commentary audio in FC 26 on PlayStation 5.

There is no commentary audio in FC 26 on PlayStation 5.

 

The issue occurs in all game modes, including Kick Off and Career Mode.

Crowd, stadium and match sound effects are working normally, but the commentators are completely silent.

There is also no audio during award cutscenes or player award moments.

 

I have tried the following without success:

I checked all in-game audio settings and set commentary volume to 100.

I changed the commentary language and re-downloaded the audio files.

I restarted the game and performed a full shutdown of the PS5.

I tested multiple game modes including Kick Off.

 

The problem is not related to a specific Career save, as it also happens in Kick Off.

This appears to be a commentary/audio bug on PlayStation 5.

    Hi there. Check your audio settings. If you use a surround option like 5.1 or 7.1, you need to have a supporting system for it. Commentary plays through the center speaker so if you don't have one, you won't hear it. Change your audio to stereo instead.

    Hi this has nothing to do with audio settings/client side, this is a server side issue

    its not a bug, i found the solution.

    On the main menu click and hold R1. the music menu will come up, then click R3 to enable commentary and regular audio
