Unrealistic Objectives in Career Mode with Live Start Points

I just started a career mode as Nottingham Forest using Live Start Points (date 2-11-2026). The objective is to finish in a Europa League spot. At this Live Start Point, they have 26 points from 25 games. Currently, the Premier League team in the Europa League spot has 44 points from 26 games.

It is unrealistic (even for Forest's owner...) to expect a manager to close an 18 point gap in just 13 games.

I noticed the same behavior when starting a career with Werder Bremen. I won my first 5 games and my job security kept dropping, presumably because I was still so far away, points wise, from meeting the objective.

The objectives should take into account the team's current position and points tally to formulate a realistic objective.

With 9 games remaining they're still extremely unrealistic. I played as Spurs (not wanting to actually save them but to rebuild them in the championship) and they still set the goals of winning the Champions League, which is unrealistic but still possible, and finishing in a Champions League spot, which is basically impossible even if they did win their remaining games. It's slightly annoying because the only way I can complete it is if I turned sacking off but I wanted the option to still be sacked, just not within 9 games remaining of the starting season.
