Xbox: Screen turns red/magenta after 1–2 hours, now permanent
Platform: Xbox Series X/S (disc version)
Issue:
When playing FC 26 on Xbox, after about 1–2 hours of gameplay the screen suddenly shifts into a strong red/magenta tint. At first, restarting the console and reinserting the disc temporarily fixed the issue, but now the color problem is permanent and does not go away at all.
Details:
- Xbox menus and other games look completely normal.
- The colorblind mode in FC 26 is set to Standard.
- I have tried reinstalling the game, clearing saved data/cache, toggling HDR on/off, and resetting all in-game settings. Nothing fixes the issue.
- The bug seems to trigger after some playtime and then persists even after restarts.
Steps to reproduce (as far as I can tell):
- Start FC 26 on Xbox.
- Play for 1–2 hours.
- Screen colors suddenly shift to a strong red/magenta tint.
Expected result:
Colors should remain normal during gameplay.
Actual result:
Game screen shifts to red/magenta and does not return to normal, even after restarts.
