Hello, I have a problem with EA SPORTS FC 27 on PC. When I try to enter a match, the screen turns black and the game does not display any image. My PC specifications:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 8700
- Graphics card: Intel Arc B580
- RAM: 16 GB
- Operating system: Windows 11
I have already tried:
- Repairing the game through the EA app
- Updating my Intel Arc graphics driver
- Installing Windows updates
- Disabling the EA in-game overlay
- Changing display settings and V-Sync settings
- Restarting my computer
After using the “Repair” option, the game sometimes works, but after closing and reopening it, the black screen problem comes back. Other games work normally. Windows detects my Intel Arc B580 without any errors. Please help me determine the cause of this problem and let me know what logs or diagnostic files I should send you. Best regards

Same issue here on PC (EA App), and not only in Clubs – it happens in Division Rivals, FUT Champions and Friendlies. After the opponent is found (not every opponent which makes it harder to fix. Sometimes I got this error sometimes i can play 5 matches in a row LOL), the screen goes black with the spinning EA logo, then the game stays frozen on a black screen. It never returns to the menu, so I have to Alt+F4 and the match counts as a loss.
What I've already done: new ASUS router, ISP modem in bridge mode (no double NAT), public IP, UPnP on, wired 1 Gbps connection, IPv6 re-enabled, restarts. Cache cleaned, game repaired.
EA Connection Quality Report: 93/100 (ping 27.68 ms, jitter 1.33 ms, packet loss 0.02%).

Has this been fixed yet ? How is it possible that this happens to so many people and no one knows how to fix it
management issue at the core of the games development, thats how no one knows how to fix it. Mind it its been in the game last year. Praying someone at their company steps up or even better steps down from their position and admits they ruined the franchise
EA_Darko Additional info from a failed match today (22 Oct 2026, 20:13–20:14 CEST / 18:13–18:14 UTC, Division Rivals, PC/EA App):
After the opponent was found, the EA logo finished loading and the game stayed on a black screen. I checked Task Manager during the hang: FC 27 was NOT "Not responding", CPU ~32%, RAM ~5.8 GB, disk ~0.1 MB/s, but network activity was 0 Mbps. So the game is still running, but it stops all network traffic and never returns to the menu. I had to Alt+F4 and the match counted as a loss.
My connection is fine (EA Connection Report 93/100, wired, public IP, UPnP on). It looks like the client gets stuck in a loop when the connection to the opponent fails. Can you please pass this to the FC team? DxDiag is in my earlier post above.
