Losing connection on playstation

Hi there. Has it been awhile since you power cycled your network equipment and console? Try these steps:

• Unplug your modem/router for 2 minutes
• Hold down the power button on your console until it turns off
• Turn it all back on and try playing again

It worked for like maybe 2-3 hours and now it’s right back to doing the same thing. I can play all my other games completely fine with no issues so I know it’s not me

You mention being close to your modem/router and leaving enough space. I just want to make sure you're actually wired. Is there an ethernet cable going from your console to your modem/router?

Also, have you tried the troubleshooting steps listed here?

Yes I am wired and I’ve tried all the troubleshooting yall listed. There is a Ethernet cable connected to my router

Did this just recently start happening or has it been occurring for a long time?

Also, just to make sure, is the other end of that ethernet cable connected to your console?

It recently just happened maybe a week ago now and yes the Ethernet cable is connected from my router to my PlayStation 5.

If you've power cycled according to my previous instructions and have gone through all the troubleshooting steps here, try contacting your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues. Also, those instructions for updating the DNS should be attempted. If they haven't.

Why would it be anything to do with my internet though whenever I can play every other game totally fine with no issues but madden I cant

Usually, disconnecting in the middle of a game is a connection issue. Is the disconnect happening at the same time? Is there some event that occurs? You could try setting your lineup to best overall. Or remove chemistries from your players. Normally though, those issues prevent you from starting a game rather than disconnecting in the middle of one.
