This never was an issue in NHL 23, started last year with NHL 24 and now still around in NHL 25.
D-Men always leading rushes as an outlet up the ice and when you get settled in the O-Zone they always below the face-off dots in front of the goalie.
It doesn't matter how you have your team strategy set, it always happens.
Will this ever be addressed or will we be stuck with an NHL 2004 issue (yes NHL 2004) in NHL 24/25?

I'll try and get one and post it. But if you have played the game at all, ain't no way you haven't seen this with the D-Men.
Community ManagerI mostly play WoC as a D and only occasionally have an AI D partner. In the cases I have, they're not doing this. So, if you're talking about a different mode, it's not something I would have really noticed. I played HUT for the first several weeks after launch and didn't see this happening, but I haven't played it now in a couple of weeks. Also, not everyone plays the same and AI positioning is largely dependent on where the human controlled players are so video is really important.

These are just ones I randomly caught, the above situations happen 10-15 times a game it seems. That might be on the high end (7 min periods), but something is way off with the D-Men Logic constantly wanting to leave the zone and lead rushes.
Also, team default strategies of Sullivan from November 20th Roster Update, no changes to them at all.
