While in game, when there is a whistle, the black EA sports transition screen cuts the action. However, part of that screen is not leaving memory fast enough and visible screen tearing is happening before the faceoff. Will variable refresh rate help this? I’m playing on PS5.

It is most prevalent with the generic arena that functions as the “venue” for all leagues besides NHL. It’s on PS5. I have tried two different cables, VRR monitor, and while it doesn’t affect gameplay, it is still very annoying, as it affects immersion value. I believe the functionality of the generic arena needs to be polished. The UI took a hit after the last update as well. It’s slower and I feel like I’m back in NHL 23 or 24. When I first played NHL 25 trial it was almost perfect. Please investigate or fix.
