ERROR CODE CE-108255-1 WHEN OPENING HUT
Hi All, This post makes me very frustrated with EA and SONY. I purchased the pre-order deluxe edition of NHL 25(Over $120!!!!) and after playing for less than 2 hours my game crashed saying "Failed to retrieve data" and I have not been able to open HUT again. Every time I go to open HUT it gives me error code CE-108255-1. I have tried all the solutions I could find for this error code and saw people were experiencing the same thing with Fifa FUT a couple weeks ago. I don't play a lot of video games so when I go on and can't even play it is beyond frustrating. I even tried another PS5 and the same issue persists. Is it my account, EA or Sony's problem? Does anyone have a solution that actually works for this issue?Franchise mode gameplay sliders not working
Franchise mode has a bug that needs fix ASAP Custom gameplay slider presets are broken, reverting back to the EA default settings after every game. You can save a new custom preset but... you'll need to activate it EVERY game. When you check the gameplay sliders before a game you will see the saved named of you custom sliders but the settings will be the default EA slider set. Work around before every game go into gameplay sliders and switch back to the NHL25 preset (the sliders won't change) then switch back to your custom sliders and they will be active for that one game. Be a pro bugs - seriously EA
I do not know how it’s possible that EA has put out the EXACT same be a pro year after year and still won’t address bugs year after year. Own goal bug, line bug, AI bug, and more. I hope that whatever dev reads this understands that no one believes that EA cares about anything other than money because of this stuff. Year after year, no bug fixes and everyone knows it’s because there’s no micro transactions in be a pro. It actually makes me sick. Here’s some bugs and concerns: Inconsistency between what line it says you’re on and what line you’re actually on. Out of game it states I’m supposed to be on the 2nd line but im on the third in game. My coach even pulled me aside and said we are sending you to the second so I promised to get a good grade, only to realize I’m not actually on the 2nd line! Great game! As mentioned almost every year, the simulation can bug and cause own goals to happen. AI players should never use dekes that bring the puck backwards at the blue line, if I see a 90+ overall player single handedly put himself offside again I’m gonna lose it, he’s supposed to be one of the best in the league. Overalls in general do not affect your teams AI as much as the other teams AI. This is blatant, and I’d love to know where in the setting I could tweak this. For instance when the opposing team gets a powerplay they are making clean passes and setting up plays which is perfect. But when I get a powerplay, it is always an AI giveaway, every single time. They either blatantly fail a pass that leaves the zone or just pass into traffic when people are open. Same goes for speed, you better bet that if McDavid is on the other team he’s a rocketship, but if I choose to play with McDavid he looks like an actual slug. Same tuners, same gamemode. There are definitely hidden tuners here, just like in the new moments btw which should be banned by EA, changing tuners without announcement is unethical in my opinion. As far as I understand, if you want to get a realistic experience and play in the memorial cup before getting drafted by a random team, you are forced to play on default rosters, in this case the rosters are absolutely abysmal and old. I get that you are being drafted in June/july of 2024 so technically the rosters are somewhat correct, but I don’t think anyone wants those rosters, the players drafted in 2024 aren’t playing with those rosters, I shouldn’t be either. The menus are slow and can glitch. The biggest I’ve noticed this year is sometimes my game time limit will change itself from quick to custom to medium to whatever it wants really, I have to be careful to check it before every game now. not a bug, but come on EA is this really entirely the same game mode you’ve had for 7 years or something. That’s unacceptable, look at your competitors in fifa, nba, madden, and more. They’ve all innovated, creating storylines or immersive worlds for a be a pro to exist in. I’ve held on for so long as CHEL was my childhood but as an adult with choices to make about my money, EA is not showing me they care about anything other than money
Missing Features / Bugs
Please fix this EA, I know the game has only just come out but it shouldn’t have launched like this… Someof these issues might be things you have deliberately left out for whatever reason I have no idea... But please take all of this seriously for the sake of your community! 1 - Exact Region / Group Size missing on Chel… This is a huge problem and if it’s not a bug needs to be added back asap! 2 - Intermission / Inbetween Play Overlays such as the Grude Match and Highlights stay on screen for too long resulting in missing the face off / start of a play, this is happening for my friend too but doesn’t happen to us all the time… 3 - Turning vibration off in controller settings does not disable vibration (PS5) 4 - Turning off controller audio then quitting the game / restarting PS5 turns controller audio back on 5 - There was an issue where I couldn't leave the loadout select menu in the EASHL 3v3 lobby 6 - Missing NHL / AHL colour options in custom branding when customising the brand of your chel team 7 - Alt Jersey not saving jersey or socks when going in team practice on chel (none scrimmage) 8 - Replay showing previous goal scored instead of penalty (wrong replay being shown) 9 - Menus are ridiculously laggy and slow yet again, though not much that can probably be done regarding that now I guess… Some of these bugs / missing features are game breaking honestly, didn’t pay all this money for the deluxe edition to experience this day one, I 110 percent won’t be buying at launch ever again! If it takes too long to correct the above… (Other than that I love how the game plays, the skating physics etc, but come on please fix what I and others have mentioned sooner rather than later otherwise this game will flop)
No player at faceoff
This happened already twice in a game. My player supposed to take a faceoff is standing outside the faceoff circle with the other players when the puck drops. Opponent center is at the spot. Faceoff are getting pretty hard to win. I'm playing franchise mode with PS5. Other things bugging: Can't select language. Why is that? I had to change PS5 language to English, cause I wanted my NHL in english, which is not my first language. Player heights and weights too are now in feets and pounds. I prefer the metric system. Menus are so laggy in franchise mode, you want to quit playing.
