Game:
I was playing in Be A Pro Mode and got my first hat trick at home arena and as the hat celebration is wrapping I start to get a few sound issues and then the screen went black and crashed back the XBOX main screen completely out of the game. I went back in and tried again and repeated the hat trick and same thing. I was able to recreate it 4 times. The last time I even tried deleting the saved game and starting over and it still happens. In other words it's repeatable.

Same thing. Started when I created a new player for updated rosters earlier this week. Hat trick = crash on skip, or if you don’t skip it will crash when the EA logo flips up right as it would normally go to replay. Crash did not occur when teammates scored hat tricks and I did not skip the animation. This is absolutely brutal. There’s no way this should have made it out of basic testing.

When not skipping it crashes as the EA logo flips up when it is likely about to show the instant replay.

Yeah this started with me yesterday if a video is still needed I can do it again and send it somewhere but I can’t post it in here it won’t allow me to

It just did it when a random guy on my team scored an empty net. Didn't skip anything. Just crashed during the celebration. I submitted an error report with a clip already. I can't even get through a game at this point. This is even on a second character. This is absolutely unacceptable.

had this same problem 2 nights ago 3 hattys later turned my console and gave up. Decide to try again tonight recorded a hat trick. the instant you get the window to celebrate dashboard and return to the game and it should allow you to keep playing without crashing. Not sure if you receive an achievement or not, I didn’t but it should at least bypass and not allow the game to crash lmk if this works for you

Has the team come up with a solution for any of this so far? Online is constant glitches and backing out of lobbies with game crashes... and now the only fun singleplayer mode "Be a Pro Career" is unplayable because it will crash every time. I tried to play a game over 3 times and each time the game crashes back to the lobby. Would love to play the newest NHL game but its absolutely unplayable on all fronts. I have over a hundred hours on this game and was definitely planning on clocking more but I think I'd rather just ask for a refund than just sit around while the devs take their sweet time to fix anything.

Thank you, this actually worked and I was able to score a hat-trick again. Congratulations on actually figuring out the issue.

I happened to be watching a youtube video today where the guy caught the bug on video and left it in there. This is exactly what happened to me. It's at about 15:33 and again at 1:01:03 in the video.

I’m honestly about to put in for a refund for the insane amount of crashes. Painful as a Sharks fan and finally having an interesting roster to play with for future season. This game is completely unplayable. I didn’t pay $80-100 to be an alpha tester. This barely meets beta.
