NHL 25 - Be A Pro Hat Trick Crash

This was happening to me too. I tried the *workaround* which was to disable the play by play announcer, didn't work.

I just tried switching from stereo audio to tv speakers and so far no crash in 3 hat tricks games.

I will edit my post if I get more crashes with that setting.

It’s not just the hat trick celebrations either. Just had my second occurrence of the game crashing at the end of a period when the buzzer sounded. Anytime the **bleep** announcers talk that’s not live action it seems at risk of crashing. Before if I got a hat trick I would just quit out the game so I didn’t lose my stats but now it’s seeming like it could happen anytime. This game mode is becoming unplayable. Which is weird because it doesn’t seem like you’ve changed it at all in 4 years. 

$100 for this game. Its been 2 weeks and my favorite game mode is unplayable because I score too many goals. Unbelievable. 

I recently got away with two hat tricks of my own without crashing, but just today an AI player on my team (Canucks Be A Pro) scored a hatty and it dashboarded… sigh 😔 this is getting really frustrating… I play all my be a pro matches at the 20 minute periods length, so it sucks when so much time is consistently thrown away and count for nothing towards your be a pro progression. A lot of the crashes have been during high point production games.

“This couldn’t be further from the truth” are you serious right now? This literally happened between me and you last year. I reported a game breaking bug. You asked for a video of it. I gave you a video of it. You didn’t get back to me for weeks and when you did you literally admitted that it would not be fixed for the remainder of the NHL 24 and that you guys would “try” to have it fixed for next game. Funny how you don’t remember it when you’re the one who locked the post to stop dialogue between the players. 

Having similar issue on PS5.  
However it seems to only happen in the third period.  Periodically when a player gets a hat trick in the third period the game crashes.

I’ve had it happen so many times I stopped playing the third period and simming at the end or the second.

Mine keeps doing that as well. I will be having a good game and then it crashes. I keep sending the error report in hoping that will help but it’s frustrating because you have to redo the match.

Two different BAP careers and the same thing, crashes on hat trick. You guys haven’t changed the presentation in about 5 years so this is cut and paste from previous years, and you can’t take the extra time to play test this?

Thanks for trying. We'll just have to wait for this to be properly fixed then.
