I wanted to play skate with my friends after a while and when i logged in, all of my progress was gone, and it was asking me to create a new character. I have multiple achievements hours and cosmetics in this game and would rather not lose that progress. I have linked my playstation accounts, contacted an EA assistant, which was unfortunately unable to help me. I am playing on the PS5 version

I see you mentioned you linked your accounts. When you logged in and noticed that your progress was gone, were you prompted to link your PSN account again?
Usually, unlinking the PSN and EA accounts can cause progression issues, and if you link it to a different EA account, you will start from scratch. However, if the accounts were never unlinked, there shouldn't be any reason for the account to be reset.
was my account un linked from my playstation account because i used my EA account for a different game on a different profile? I made an apex legends account on a seperate profile
also, i never linked a new account to my psn profile
Community ManagerYou can only have one PSN ID linked to an EA Account at a time. If you previously unlinked a PSN ID and then linked a different one, that’s likely why your progress appears to have been reset.
If you’ve never linked a different PSN ID, then your progress normally shouldn’t be affected. Unfortunately, we can’t check your account connections here on the EA Forums, but you can contact EA Help. They should be able to review your account, confirm whether a PSN ID was previously unlinked, and provide more information about what happened.
i bit the bullet and created a new character, but my friendslist is still the same? even cross platform friends.. i lost all my progress though
Community ManagerThe friend list is not directly tied to the progress. So as long as you're using the same account, the friend list should remain the same. However, unlinking accounts can erase previously made progress. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but unfortunately, we have no way to recover the progress in such cases.
