After doing the spots 101 mission my screen goes black. I thought maybe it was a console issue so I linked my EA account to an Xbox account and tried it on an Xbox and it did the same thing as my PlayStation. my friend was able to complete the mission no problem.

Same here stuck there since yesterday. Tried it now 17 times. I insatlled the game new but nothing works.
I tried everything, at this point we can’t do anything until they fix this. Sucks being stuck with no gear while my friends are completing missions
mine boots up, it loads in and it even lets me see the map, but in the background its all black, i can hear sounds and all, but even if i try to fast travel my whole screen turns black and after that I cant even do anything and its been stuck like this for nearly a day. I even tried restarting like 100 times (closing the game and reopening) and i uninstalled it then reinstalled it like twice now and still does the same thing, kinda helpless here.
This is exactly what’s happening to me. Have you been able to fix it?

Stuck in black screen every time I do own the spot mission too. Haven’t even been able to get out of tutorial since I was in a 25k que yesterday at release
I’m on ps5 and after the first at mission when I got a 180 Ollie it buts me in a black screen at one point I waited for mins for nothing to happen
same here on pc, everytime I get 180 ollie my screen goes black and i can't do anything, it's literally the first quest on the game and i cant even get some gear... it's really annoying

yeah same thing able to load up fine untill after the configure and boom black screen and it automatically pops up my pause screen and if i try to teleport it just locks the black screen in forever literally the dumbest thing ever already spent like 50$ on this game and it’s doing ts come home from work just to get a black screen bro stupid.
I have the same issue. Following the instructions, then after doing the ollie 360. The game seems to go load the next thing, then it stays on black screen. I can still hear the sounds, but no inputs do anything. Only way out is to Alt + F4.
hello guys i found a way to fix it and i would like to know if this helped any of you guys in any way. i was messing around trying to find a way to fix this and start skating again.
when booting the game up and loading in, you should see the hub section but the background where your character usually is should be black what you want to do is click on missions, and untrack, track, untrack, and track then your game should be back to normal and be able to skate again friends!

Thanks RealZxto!! This 100% helps. I was trying to play before work and had this happen, then I said **bleep** hopefully it’s fixed when I get back but nope, google my issue and u saved a headache, I’m happy I get to play after work.
