Can’t Turn Off Cross-Play?

I’m on Xbox Series S and I noticed that the crossplay option in the menu is greyed out. Love to be able to filter my lobbies so it’s a little less heavy on my console. 

is this a feature to be added later? Or is it never going to be implemented?
