With the Season 3 update we can no longer teleport to players through the Social Menu. The "Teleport" option is just completely missing from the list now.
The only way currently to teleport to anyone is if they're in your party, then you can look at them directly on the map and hold R3. The option still won't appear in the Social Menu even if they're in your party.
I assume this is unintentional and a bug.. hopefully.
EA QV TeamThank you for the report! In the meantime if you go in to the dedicated spectate mode, you should see the option to teleport there, but we'll investigate the option not appearing in the initial menu.
EA QV TeamI can confirm that this is actually As Designed. The teleport option being directly in the Player Menu on the San Van tab (now named Spectate tab) was not intended. You can still teleport by selecting the Spectate option and holding A/X, and the Teleport option is still available directly in the Player Menu for Party Members and Friends.
Why is this option hidden behind the specific spectate option, when selecting someone in the social list already functions as a soft-spectate. It's not like I can look at their names without the game loading/rendering them and the area they're in.
The monthly missions added recently require players to teleport to other skaters, while this functionality isn't explained anywhere and is only available 1) while in a party via the map 2) to random players in a spectate mode that has no obvious use.. and NOT via the map.
