Created character and as soon as I get my skateboard the game freezes and crashes, "Couldn't allocate memory/insufficient memory allocated". Tried multiple things verified files, delete reinstall on EA vs Steam, allocated more memory, lowered in game settings. Specs are GTX 5070ti, AMD 9800x3D and 64gb ddr5

I'm having the same issue as well at the exact same place. I tried lowering graphics settings, reinstalled it, updated my graphic driver.
I just want to play the game!
UPDATE: I turned off Crossplay from settings and it worked
Same, noticed steam integrity verification keeps failing to match 3 files, it appears to fix the corrupted files, temporarily, but they corrupt again after running the game the next time. Two others and I that started playing at the same time couldn't progress past the tutorial, right at the beginning where you drop in for the first time. Same error as you. I reinstalled, tried on Epic Games Launcher and EA Launcher, tried running from EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe, tried adjusting graphics to minimum, reinstalling NVidia drivers, no change.
Why is there no way to skip the tutorial???
I beleive the issue is a memory leak starting at or around the cutscene where you get your board. If you don't progress to get your board, you don't appear to run into any crashes. You can even wait to be disconnected for inactivity, go back to the main menu, and reload into the tutorial without any problems. The instant you grab the board, it begins slowing down heavily. We've gotten as far as the bottom of the first drop in, but it usually crashes before you can get on your board and start the drop in.

Same thing on my Ps5 in tutorial when I pick up my skate the game freezing and exit me with message close the game there's issues and report the problem I don't know what i can do if u figure out tell me please

i have the same issue, i create the character, go into the unskippable tutorial, and get told i dont have enough memory but when it crashes my pc is only at 60% of the allocated RAM, but i also see that when i get my board my CPU is also skyrocketing in usage from skate.
mine always crashes right on the lowest part of the big ramp
Disable cross-platform and it works!
mine seems to happen before i even get to my board and just after climbing the big wall, just disconnects me from server??
