Blackscreen and lock up on launch
I made the mistake of updating Windows the other day (oops) and since then, 4 out of 5 attempts to launch skate. have resulted in a black screen and hard lock up of my PC, can't get to task manager, can't alt-tab, PC completely locks up and requires a forced shut down. I've seen other people complain about this, and I can now report it's a SUPER FUN BUG. I will not bother trying to launch skate. again as I'm now afraid it will brick my PC. So I can't progress on my season pass, which I paid for (also oops). THANKS A BUNCH! Maybe consider telling the AI that codes your game to stop &%^ing up so hard! As far as I'm concerned, anyone affected by this bug who's bought your season pass should be compensated all items from the season pass including the SVB. I already unlocked all the SVB and don't even want the rest of the items I haven't unlocked but it's the principle. This is crap. Fix this. EA anticheat preventing game from loading suddenly due to windows anti-virus
I've had issues with EA anticheat before causing the game to crash my pc, or do other weirdness. It seems like windows defender HATES it. I've reported multiple issues, but this one is preventing me from playing the game at all. Now after showing the anticheat window my whole PC freezes for like a whole minute and the game doesn't load. Adding the game folder to be excluded from the anti-virus does not work. Last time it made a bunch of beep sounds. hope these screenshots help the rest of the errors are the same as the very first image
Can not launch into game.
I have cleared my cache, reinstalled the game, reinstalled EA Javelin Anti-Cheat, and tried launching in windowed mode and the game either gives me "Error Code : 1478078408 " , Grey Screens before the EA Skate "Splash Screen", or Freezes while the game is Configuring. Also every time I've been able to get to the start screen is always ask me to update the "accessibility options". How do i also get this to stop. I just wanna play the game.
Spectating & Teleporting To A Player Can Cause Infinite Loading
This came up because of the monthly challenge, and a few players talking about this on the discord. Went in to test it myself. If you do: Social Menu > choose a player from the "specate" list > "teleport" you seemingly always teleport fine. If you do: Social Menu > choose a player from the "spectate" list > choose "spectate" (so you view them full screen), then hold (A) to teleport, the game can go into an infinite loading state. When you close the game, and relaunch it, the teleport has actually worked, you are put where you expected to be. This may be something to do with how far away they are? In the video attached: timestamps - feel free to skip to the important parts! i've chopped out the actual infinite loading because they went on for a while. 0:10 Teleport without pressing spectate - works fine. 0:20 Teleport from "spectating" - infinite load. 0:40 Relaunching skate 1:23 I've reloaded into the game where the teleport was supposed to put me 1:35 Teleporting without pressing spectate - works fine 2:07 Teporting via spectating to a close by player - works fine. 2:10 Teleporting to someone else via spectating - infinite load
Infinite loading screen
Everything was fine until the last game update; now, when I try to launch it after the update, I get stuck on the loading screen. It loads a few shaders and then just stays loading forever. Even when I close the game, it keeps running in my Task Manager and consuming resources. I’ve reinstalled it, cleared the cache, launched it via both Steam and EA, verified the game files, restarted my internet, and tried both Wi-Fi and a wired connection—AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!! Javelin force-closing the game with the ExitCode "95 (81)"
I'm trying to play Skate after a long absence, and it seems something running on my computer is causing Javelin to have a heart-attack, however I'm not sure what's even running that would cause this.. I've tried every troubleshooting step I can think of, including completely reinstalling Javelin, and nothing has worked. I even tried closing suspicious apps, but nothing helped. If someone internal at EA can assist me with this, please do.. I'm literally losing my marbles over this.
Problems with friend list displaying incorrect names
My game says I'm not connected to ea services and it shows on the website it is linked, but I can't someone party but others could join me like normal and I really need have and I'll give the necessary information and pictures of what im experiencing . Therefore there is another person doesn't show up in my friends list. But furthermore the crossplay is unstable CM EDIT: Edited title for clarity
All Product Boxes LOCKED!
Devs, This problem has been haunting me for months. I am 10/10/10 in all locations and working on my final product boxes, too bad I can't ever progress and buy the items because they are always LOCKED. Things I've tried: Repairing files. Repair Easy Anti Cheat. Repair EA APP Rename Cache folder (which confuses my locations of all my videos and screenshots.) Uninstalled and Reinstalled I've renamed the Cache folder 3 times now, I've reinstalled countless times, I repair the game almost everyday. And still I cannot load the game without having some tab open because something is wrong with your guys' code on PC that the game doesn't even open if it's in the foreground and crashes my PC.
