Infinite Loading/Black Screen After Returning to Marker or Completing Challenges
Platform: PC, PS5 (platform-independent) Description: Since Season 3, returning to the session marker (D-Pad up) occasionally causes the game to freeze on either the loading screen or a completely black screen. This happens approximately 1–2 times per hour. Same thing when completing challenges. The screen does not resolve, and the only way to recover is to force close the game (Alt + F4 on PC). Additional Details: The game continues running in the background. You can hear other players, and matches (e.g., OTL) continue without your participation. Occurs on both PC and PS5. Attached: video recording showing the issue. Steps to Reproduce: Play the game normally. Return to the session marker using D-Pad up or finish a challenge. Occasionally, the loading screen will freeze or go black. Frequency: 1–2 times per hour Impact: Prevents gameplay and requires forced shutdown.
Freezing/Black Screen
Since season 3 that started to happen but since season 4 it’s almost impossible to play the game. im even scared to start a task, join a group or leave the group, that’s so frustrating. It happens doing whatever, it could be moving to a fast point, going to the island or city. It’s becoming impossible to finish the task or get blue tickets as I couldn’t join a group or yes but as soon as they/I start the task it just get the black screen. I’ve tried this with the last task of the event 3 times then shut down the ps4 as it no possible. I already did all the steps they say on the website, licences, delete the game and none of that works. Please solve this, I feel I payed premium pass for nothing as I can’t playReplay Editor crashes into slow motion and prevents adding keyframes
Hi, I’m having trouble with the Replay Editor and it’s been weeks now. I’m on Xbox Series S, and at this point I can’t add keyframes at all. Every time I try, the clip goes into slow motion and I have to feather RT just to get normal speed. I mainly play to create content and make clips, but right now I’m basically stuck just claiming my ticks and doing a couple challenges, which gets boring for me. Any help would be appreciated.Xbox one main menu error message
Since this new season has begun on Xbox one it constantly lags out at the menu and says “connection lost; you have been disconnected from the server”. This has made the game totally unplayable after taking my money for this seasons pass. Please fix this, issue has been consistent for a few weeks now.
Random Soft-Lock Black Screen when Leaving Replay Editor
The game does an eternal black screen sometimes when I leave replay editor, where I cannot interact with anything, but I can hear pedestrians and skaters skating around where I am indicating the game is working and calculating things - except calculating my ability to play the game, This forces a reset and I lose all my progress in the replay I just keyframed. This happened last season but less often. My pc is low spec - but I can run lowest settings at 60 fps. EDIT: I've noticed this happens fairly regularly, if I play skate and go to clip something there's almost 70% chance that day I'm going to encounter this bug it feels like. So it happens every other day, and it really ruins the quality of my clips because I can't keyframe at 3 fps full ultra, so I like keyframing on the lowest graphics and switching to higher graphics to export - but the bug restricts me from using the highest quality graphics because I risk soft locking the game. I would suggest adding the graphics options to the replay editor mode so this bug at least doesn't throw away all my work at random. Happened once when I got pulled into an own the lot from far away, where the party leader selects to do an own the lot while I'm elsewhere on the map. I was able to hear the environment and the challenge music but the challenge never started and was stuck in a black screen for more than a couple minutes before I decided to alt+f4. Happened once when entering replay editor with ultra graphics on, I was able to see the replay editor UI, open all the menus, but aside the UI the game was just black, I'm pretty sure I remember being able to rewind and forward and hear my skater skating, but the screen stayed black. Exiting replay editor put me into the forever black screen where I can hear the environment but not play or see the game. Worth noting it doesn't feel like this bug happens more often in ultra feels like it happens about the same. Seemingly happens most often in low settings because that's what I prefer for replay editor keyframing. I'm most often exiting/entering the replay mode in low graphics. other info: i7 4790 cpu 16gb ram GTX 1650 super gpu Minimum settings, no AA, no resolution scaling, capped at 30 fps, borderless window. I cap my framerate to 30 for the purpose of reducing minor framerate hitching, but the game is a very playable 60 for me if I choose to uncap my framerate. ATTACHMENT: shows a black screen that occured after I exited replay editor in lowest graphics, the game's ambient sound is working, and the game is able to process me being near an ice cream truck to play the ice cream truck sound, and I think I can even hear cars and other skaters. I can pull up the feedback window. but mashing other keys on my keyboard does nothing. SUGGESTIONS: - Add a feature to save replays locally. Even if its only 3 slots it would be enough to circumvent this issue. - Add graphics options to replay editor so I dont have to exit replay editor and encounter this bug - Obviously fix this bug

The trick detector that displays the joystick in real time is stuck on one trick. Random but relatively frequent crashes when I invite people have been happening for the past two or three weeks. My girlfriend is no longer visible in my friends list. I can only find her by searching for her username, and it says we're friends, but she's not in my list. After updating to Season 4 (0.31.1), Skate no longer launches. System: CPU: Intel Core i7-2600 GPU: GTX 1660 Ti OS: Windows 10 22H2 (19045) Game installed on SSD Behavior: EA Anti-Cheat loads successfully. Game opens a fullscreen black window. Crashes immediately back to EA launcher. Troubleshooting performed: Uninstalled/Reinstalled Repaired/verified game files multiple times. Rebooted PC. Plenty of free SSD space available. Event Viewer: Faulting application: skate.exe Faulting module: skate.exe Exception code: 0xC000001D Additional information: Game worked prior to the June 2 / Season 4 update. Crash dumps are generated and both crashes occur at the same address, suggesting a deterministic startup crash.
