DirectX Error when launching the game on Steam

This has been an issue for me on PC on Steam since the launch of the early access. The highlighted comment is the "fix" to work around it.:

"I found a fix.. as soon as you launch Skate from Steam, immediately open up a browser and keep it in the forefront while skate loads in the background and it'll work. "

 If you want I can show you the exact Direct X error I get:

DirectX function "Hang Detected in waitForFrameFences. Timed out after 8000 ms. Waiting for SignalId: 1077. Last Signaled Fence Value: 1078. Unsignaled Fences: ("Graphics" stopped at 1076),("Compute" stopped at 1076), " failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The GPU will not respond to more commands"). GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER", Driver: 58180. E:\p4\ship\TnT\Code\Packages\RenderCore2\RenderCore2\dev\source\platform\Dx12\SubmissionManagerDx12.cpp. This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.

Also note that this is the only game I have my GPU crash on launch, or at all. I did reinstall my driver many many times, I still get the same error.
