Failed to Connect to EA Services - Error code: 1478078408

Haven't been able to play the game once.  I'm placed into the queue and once it's my turn to join, the screen shows configuring for a few moments and then I receive:

ERROR

Error code: 1478078408

Failed to connect to EA services. Please retry.

I'm on PlayStation 4 and verified the OS and game are up to date.  My EA account is showing linked to my PlayStation account.  I've uninstalled the game, deleted the save data, and reinstalled, however the error persists.  Clearing PlayStation's cache and configuring its dns settings haven't resolved the issue either.
