FIXED: Sync and Latency Issue

UPDATE: I'm very glad to see the latency issue described in this post has been fixed since the launch of Season 2. Great job devs! 
(I like to think I had a key role in getting this issue fixed.)

I've been playing Skate (Early Access) on PC with a friend of mine and we noticed there is a latency/sync issue while attempting to do vert doubles. My screen shows us going up and down the halfpipe at the same time but on his screen one of us will be way ahead of behind the other. So much so that sometimes we'll be on opposite sides of the halfpipe on his screen but on the same side on my screen.

I should also mention that we are in the same room and have very similar laptops.
