Performance has decreased since new update

I am playing on the Xbox series S and since the 90s update Free Skate has been extremely laggy and buggy, barely 30fps and frames will skip.

its stutter and lag and it makes me sick. Can only play solo challenges without it and anything in the open world just stutters non stop. I dont know how this made it past play testing unless no one actually play tested season 1.

Went through all the graphics settings one by one on PC and 0.28 is instantly unplayable for me if I turn texture quality to high, even without restarting the game.

  • Same here on the Series S. Everything was butter-smooth, 60fps with no stutters at all before the Season 1 Update.

I have found a temporary fix (sort of):
    - Disable Traffic and Pedestrians in General Settings
    - Set the Depth of Field Quality and Motion Blur Quality to Off in the Graphics Settings
    - Making other player objects invisible might help as well

    Most important step:
    - Disable Crossplay on your Xbox. Literally a gamechanger, no more performance issues so far

This made my game playable while we await for an update!

It was a server issue, so disabling Traffic and Pedestrians did nothing. Also changing any graphical setting did nothing and was more than likely a placebo effect.

Making other players invisible may have helped as the less people the better the performance it seemed as you could play solo challenges perfectly.
