Player perspective Server-wide Lag/Stutter after spawning on Random Player

I'm getting a lot of server lag/stutter, even while attempting a mission solo. I'm using an Xbox One controller on PC, EA launcher (not from steam), and the issue started after I teleported to a random player for the "social" tutorial. Since attempting to start part 2, I have experienced nothing but stutters and severe lag. Other players appear to stutter around me, while I spectate other players, and my tricks are not registering in sync making it impossible to complete challenges/free skate. Those I do spectate seem to be moving in slow-motion. I've attempted restarting the game 4 times and nothing improved. I've only started playing today about two hours ago with the issues occurring for about half an hour now. I don't know if it's all the people playing and respawning or what, but I virtually can't play with this lag. I can't make a solo server or join a new server in game, I can only play what the game throws me into.
