Stuck in tut

I was playing skate and I had finished the tutorial, except I have not teleported to the city yet I unfortunately had to turn off my console. I have restarted the game I have cleared my Xbox saved files on the game, and the purple ring is still not appearing for me to travel to the city I was really excited to play this game, but unfortunately, I cannot teleport to the city. Can somebody please tell me what to do or tell me if this is a bug on EA side.
